I worked on this Chipotle commercial directed by Johnny kelly with Sculpt Double. We made an entire cast of little ball people and animals with a modular, magnetised design. This allowed parts to be swapped out easily as well as giving a lot of flexibility for the animator. They were all hand painted in acrylic in order to give intentionally visible brush strokes to lean into the hand made look.
