I worked on this set of two commercials directed by Becky & Joe with Sculpt Double from Feb-March 2019. I focused on the “Bag” commercial and the creation of the stick man puppet. Nathan Flynn blocked out the sculpt and then I added various wooden & bark textures all over. I then moulded and cast out the different body parts in hard fast cast or flexible latex and foam pieces to allow good movement and performance. I then painted and assembled the puppet and its 3 replacement faces to change expression. We also created large scale stick person hands for a close up where his fingers turn into gummy worms. I also helped to make spinning head replacements for the ugly to cute transformation of the troll in the “Cupboard” commercial which was shooting siultaneously at Clapham Rd Studios.
